FRANCIS CORNETT DIES; AUTO SERVICE HEAD Francis H. Cornett, 53, of Newton Township (Route 2),
service manager at Dutro Ford, died unexpectedly at 7:45
a.m. Wednesday (Aug 6) at his home following an apparent
heart attack. He had been ill the past year. Born August 11, 1915, in Noble county, a son of Louis
and Mary Ann Warner Cornett, he had lived in Zanesville
the past 35 years.. Mr. Cornett was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Surviving are his widow, Helen; three daughters, Mrs.
Esther Miller of Shippensburg, Pa., Sister Frances OSF of
Honolulu, Hawaii, and Theresa Cornett of the home; two
sons, David of Newark and Henry of the home; three sisters,
Mrs Julitta Radcliffe of Adamsville, Mrs. Florence Leddy of 15
Ninth street and Mrs. Clarence Noll of Caldwell; three brothers,
Harry of Route 2, Andrew of Norwich, and Urban of Gallipolis;
and three grandchildren. Friends may call at Hillis Funeral Home 7 to 9 p.m. today
and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
