  [S927] Obituary. WEIRTON, W.Va. - Dorothy Lucinda Knuchel, 87, formerly of Weirton, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, in Lochgelly, W.Va. She was born April 25, 1917, in Monroe County, a daughter of the late Russell and Loretta Carle. Dorothy was the kitchen supervisor at the Millsop Community Center in Weirton for many years. She was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church in Weirton and attended the First Christian Church in Lehigh Acres, Fla. Surviving are her husband of sixty-five years, La Verne Knuchel; a son, Roger Knuchel and his wife, Joan, of Byesville, Ohio; a daughter, Darlene Newell and her husband, Don; a sister, Olive Precek and her husband, William, of Shadyside, Ohio; a brother, Emory Carle and his wife, Jean, of Woodsfield, Ohio; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Harper Funeral Home, Bealls- ville, Thursday 6-8 p.m., where services will be held Friday at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Kevin Bowers officiating.
