Wayne, IN. Marjorie was born March 27, 1930 the daughter of the late Alfred and Teresa (Hergenroether) Schortgen at Auburn, Indiana. She was a graduate of Antwerp High School with the class of 1948. On October 16, 1948 she was united in marriage to James E. Timbrook in Montpelier, Indiana. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1998. She was a homemaker and a very active member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hicksville. She was an active participant in the Altar Rosary Society, Franciscans, and Social Club. She also was a member of the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered at the Bargain Box and Christ Cupboard. She loved her family which includes three sons James Jr. (Agnes) of Defiance, Joseph (Diane) and Jerald (Tara) of Hicksville and four daughters all of Hicksville, Judy (Mark) Skinner, Jeanne (Lowell) Wonderly, Jane (Guy) Boylan, Janet (Greg) Langham, 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, three brothers Robert (Agnes), Herbert, Larry (Ann) and one sister Emilie Heeter. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Julie Timbrook, a brother Richard and three sisters Jane Scher, Virginia Payne and Helene Collier. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-9:00, with a Rosary at 7:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11:00 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hicksville. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
