  [S927] Obituary. Obituary (courtesy of Betty Hartley; exact source unknown): Ruth Ellen Reischman, 92, Old Washington, died Thursday, March 30, 1989 at her home. She was born August 2, 1896 in Belmont County. She was a retired practical nurse at the former St. Francis Hospital, Cambridge, and former member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Lore City. She was preceded in death by a foster son, Leo Reischman; one brother Raymond Boyd; one sister Ada Johnson; and two grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Charles A., five sons, Walter and Chester, both of Barnesville, Bernard and Harold of Akron and Paul of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Mary Ellen) Vanderkamp of Old Washington, Mrs. John (Martha) Kerns, Aliquippa, PA; 27 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Friends were received Sunday at the Campbell- Plumly Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday morning from the Church of the Assumption with Fr. Charles Mascolino officiating. Burial was made in Crest- view Cemetery. Rosary devotions were held Sunday evening.
