Lillian F. "Lil" Morris, 79, died the afternoon of June 16, 2008, at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.
She was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Woodsfield to Walter and Lulu Weber Foehrenbach, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 6, 1952, in Woodsfield, she married Christian Morris, who survives.
Mrs. Morris was a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of Galilee Lutheran Church, Russells Point, and attended Indian Lake Community Church, Russells Point. She enjoyed cross stitching and knitting. Her great enjoyment was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors also include a daughter, Deb (Brandon) Hines, of Sarasota, Fla.; three sons, Christian P. (Tina) Morris, of Gallipolis, Mark E. (Christine) Morris, Alexandria, Ky., and David R. (Kristi) Morris, of Galloway; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Libby, Katie, Jennifer, Daniel, Mallory, Audrey, Josiah and Paige; five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Ethan, Jayden, Josie and Tyler; five stepgrandchildren, Erik, Luke, Andie, Tabitha and Jared; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Blanche Whitlock, of Virginia, and Mary Magers, of Arizona.
Services will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview. The Rev. Barry Baughman and the Rev. John Ellington will officiate.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Miami Valley.
