Lloyd E. Letzelter, 94, of Mingo Junction, OH died Saturday, April 11, 2015 at his home. He was born May 12, 1920 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Charles and Josephine Bierkortte Letzelter. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Lloyd was an Army veteran serving during WW II. He worked at Candoo Grizell and Cooper’s Hardware Stores. He also worked at his father’s bakery Fort Steuben Bakery. Preceding Lloyd in death were two brothers Charles “Bud” and Jack Letzelter and two sisters Mary Cross and Rose Matta. Surviving are two sisters Barbara Steel of Wintersville, OH and Georgia Brooks of Mingo Junction, OH; sister-in-law Ruby Letzelter of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClave’s), 611 N. 4th Street, Steubenville Tuesday 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Wednesday 10 a.m. with Fr. Timothy Huffman officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary.
