  [S927] Obituary. WITSBERGER, Joann D., 71, of Purseglove Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the home. She was born June 28, 1937 in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late Richard and Delorah Fry Hans. She was a former housekeeping employee at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Joann was a Jehovah Witness by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Witsberger; her brothers, Ricard and Ed Hans; and her sister, Helen Roberts. Surviving are her special niece, Cassandra Nice of Martins Ferry, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the Beck-Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Clairsville, where funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. with Joseph Witsberger officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice.
