Warren Blake "Dutch" Wallace, lifelong Okmulgee resident, died Wednesday evening, July 13, 2005 at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was 81 years of age.
Dutch was born January 13, 1924 in Okmulgee to Blake William and Olga (Hines) Wallace. He married Mary Lavone Padgett on January 15, 1947 in Girard, Kansas. After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he worked in the refinery at Stroud and then Okmulgee. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Mary L "Donnye" Wallace; a daughter, Gina Fuller and husband Jaek;* a son, Bobby Wallace and wife Annette of Tulsa; a brother, Harry Wallace and wife Carolyn of Tulsa; three sisters, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 18, 2005 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend Everett Lerch,.Jr. officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
