A Funeral Mass for Peggy Mosbrucker, 65, of Dickinson will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dickinson with Msgr. Patrick Schumacher celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Stevenson Funeral Home with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m.
Peggy passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 in Sanford Health, Bismarck.
Peggy Ann was born August 12, 1951 in Dickinson, the daughter of Donald and Josephine (Deffert) Huncovsky. Growing up she attended school in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School in 1969. Peggy married Kenneth P. Mosbrucker on March 31, 1970 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. They were blessed with two children, Todd and Michelle. Together they raised their children in Dickinson where Peggy also worked as a bookkeeper for over 30 years with KDIX, Johnston Distributing and later Jerome Distributing. She was an avid bowler, bowling on the Eagles Team for many years. Peggy loved to go to Medora to ride through the park and go to the musical. Crossword puzzles and Sudoku were a passion of hers, getting them out of any paper or book. She also enjoyed reading, television, bingo and traveling. Peggy was an active member of the Dickinson Eagles, past Madam and President of the Auxiliary, also a member of St. Anthony Club and German Hungarian Club. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Peggy had a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered for always being involved with family and taking care of family members.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Ken; daughter, Michelle (Daniel) Kirchoffner of Burnsville, MN; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Konnor; sisters, Donna (Bob) Yauger of Portland, OR, Norma Tescher of Dickinson, and Carol Oster of Oakes, ND; brothers, Dave (Camey) Huncovsky and Terry Huncovsky, both of Dickinson.
