Birth: Aug. 21, 1914 Oliver County North Dakota, USA Death: Mar. 17, 2006 New Salem Morton County North Dakota, USA Eva Lipp, 91, Center, died March 17, 2006, at Elm Crest Manor Nursing Home, New Salem. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, at St. Martin Catholic Church, Center, with the Rev. Terry Wipf officiating. Burial will be in the Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. today at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Eva was born Aug. 21, 1914 in Oliver County, the daughter of Phillip and Rosa (Hatzenbuhler) Mosbrucker. Raised and educated in the Center area, she married Stephen Lipp in 1934. They farmed southwest of Center until Stephen's death in 1965. Eva then moved into Center. Eva enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, fishing, playing cards and bingo, but most of all loved spending time with her family, particularly the grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Marcella Mittlesteadt and Isabel Flowers, both of Mandan, and MaryAnn and Henry Maertens, Center; sons and daughters-in-law, James, Mandan, Tom and Kathy, Bismarck, and Ted and Theresa, Mandan; 26 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Frances and Art Ricki and Margaret Lipp, all of Mandan, Isabelle and Steve Walters, Tacoma, Wash., and Minnie and Norman Perscke, Marshall, Minn.; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jack Mosbrucker and Lawrence and Mary Mosbrucker, all of Mandan, Tony and Rose Mosbrucker, Center and Ralph Mosbrucker, New Salem. Her parents; her husband; her sister, Mary Obenauer; three brothers, Philip, Clemens and Matt Mosbrucker; sons-in-law, Melvin Mittlesteadt and Doug Flowers; and a grandson, Michael Lipp, preceded Eva in death.
