Dominic ?Yogi? Mosbrucker, 52, Mandan, died Aug. 10, 2010, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Patrick Schumacher officiating. Burial will be held in Mandan Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, where a vigil/rosary will be held at 7 p.m.
Dom was born Aug. 5, 1958, in Fargo, the son of Larry and Mary (Steiner) Mosbrucker. He was raised and educated in Mandan, attending St. Joseph Grade School and graduating from Mandan High School in 1976. After high school, he attended Bismarck Junior College before working construction at various power plants. Dom worked for Nova Fire Protection for over 20 years. Dom married Alice Sykes on Aug. 24, 2001, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Freedom Riders Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed hunting, camping, riding motorcycle, working in his shop and traveling. Dom was known for his sense of humor, being a caretaker, particular and showing attention to detail, and always willing to help his family and friends.
Dom is survived by his wife, Alice, Mandan; daughter, Brittney; parents, Larry and Mary Mosbrucker; brother, Dwight and Dana Mosbrucker; sister-in-law, Tonya Hofland and Jason; nieces, Cassandra, Samantha and Brandi; nephews, Tate, Kyle and Kevin; godparents, Jim Marthaller and Francis Ricke; and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Philip and Rose Mosbrucker and Max and Elizabeth Steiner; and sister-in-law, Stephanie Mosbrucker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Disabled Vets, Abate or a charity of the donor?s choice.
