Agatha Senn
MOTT - Agatha "Aggie" Senn, 92, Mott, entered her eternal home Dec. 20, 2006, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Mott. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. MST Saturday, Dec. 23, at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Mott. The Rev. Charles Zins will officiate and burial will follow in Sunnyslope Cemetery, Mott.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. MST today at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with a rosary/wake service to follow at 7 p.m. MST.
Agatha "Aggie" Mosbrucker was born, along with her twin brother, Vincent, in a rural farmhouse northeast of Mott, on Aug. 4, 1914, to Robert and Elizabeth (Heinzman) Mosbrucker. As a young girl, Aggie helped her mother tend to the priests at St. Placidus and the rectory there. On June 29, 1938, she married Fred N. Senn at St. Placidus Church and they lived on the Senn farmstead until 1973, when they retired and moved to Mott. Fred Senn passed away in1995, but Aggie continued to live in her home in Mott until 2005, when she moved into the Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
Aggie loved gardening, especially growing flowers. She also loved to bake and always shared with her family. She was a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team.
She belonged to St. Vincent's Altar Society, Mott, Christian Mothers at St. Placidus and St. Pius Verein, Schefield.
Grateful for having shared in her life are five children, Roger (Bernice) Senn, Mott, Eileen Schneider, Bismarck, Richard (Clara) Senn, Bismarck, Shirley (Kent) Hardmeyer, Newton, N.J., and Fred (Diane) Senn, Mott; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; three step-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Jack Weiler, Dickinson; and one sister-in-law, Stella Marthaller, Mott.
Preceding Aggie in death were her parents; her husband, Fred; her daughter, Marleen Gigante; her son-in-law, Duke Schneider; four brothers, Frank, Jake, Vincent and Andrew Mosbrucker; and one sister, Elizabeth Weiler.
