J. Mosbrucker, New Salem, 74, died Feb 14, 1993 in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 10 am MST Thursday at St. Pius Catholic Church, New Salem with the Rev David Zimmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am MST Wed at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, New Salem and will continue at the church one hour before services. A St. Vincent Verein rosary will be said a at 7 pm Wednesday, followed by a St. Anthony Verein rosary at 7:30 pm and a parish vigil at 8. Mr. Mosbrucker was born June 3, 1918 at Crown Butte, the son of Alex and Amelia (Stein) Mosbrucker. He was raised and educated in the New Salem area. He farmed on the family farm northeast of Mew Salem and served in the Civilian Conservation Corps in Minnesota in 1936 and 1937. He married Barbara Schaner Oct 1, 1940 at St. Pius Church, New Salem. She was also of the New Salem area. They farmed until 1977 when they retired and moved into New Salem. He had been in ill health for the last five years. HE was a member of the St. Pius Church, St. Vincent Verein and St. Anthony Verein Society. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, one son and daughter-in-law, Joe P. and Violet, From Lincoln, two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Josh and Mischel, in Williston, and Marty, in Bismarck; three granddaughters, Sherri Mosbrucker, Bismarck, Jodi Mosbrucker, Portland, OR, and Karen Mosbrucker, of Williston, on great grandson, Nicholas Mosbrucker, of Williston, two sisters Elizabeth Zander, of Gridley CA, and Rose Snyder of Philadelphia, OH, two sisters-in-laws, Barbara Mosbrucker, Portland OR and Agnes Mosbrucker, New Salem; one brother-in-law, Nick Kuntz, Bismarck. HE was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Marcus; and one sister, Johanna Kuntz.
