There will be a Rosary and Vigil Service on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the St. Charles Catholic Church beginning at 7:00 p.m. William Mosbrucker was born on May 9, 1918 in Bowman County the son of Christian and Audenia (Ida) Judt Mosbrucker. He was reared on the family farm in Gem Township and attended the Gem country School. On March 7, 1941 Willie enlisted in to the United States Army where he proudly served his country until March 20, 1945. He then re-enlisted on September 4, 1950 where he would serve his country until March 8, 1952. After years of service to his country, Willie returned home to Bowman where he and his brother Leo would farm the family farm and ranch. In 1994, Willie and Leo retired from farming and bought a house in Bowman. Willie was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church, served on the Gem Township Board, loved to play cards and attend dances in the local area, played the organ , loved his orange avalanche pickup and had a passion for Steam Engines. Willie was a very independent man, a good neighbor and always concerned about doing the right thing for the township. He was proud of his work with the CC Corp and when he walked, it was with a purpose and almost a run. Willie is survived by his nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers, Michael, Anton, Jacob, John, George, Christian, Albert and Leo, five sisters, Magdaline, Mary, Margaret, Monica and Katherine.
