He was born Dec. 30, 1921 in Lowell, Massachusetts. Mr Rourke married his wife, Marguerite on May 11, 1945 in South Dakota. She proceeded him in death. He served in the Air Force for 20 years and later worked in civil service for 22 years. He retired in 1986. Survivors include his companion, Betty Johnson; a son, Stephen of Bremerton; two daughters, Sharon Sherwood and Diane Suss, both of Bremerton; a sister, Shirley Houllihan of Hampton, new Hampshire; and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. March 6 at Bangor Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Tuell-McKee Funeral and Cremation Services of Bremerton.
