  [S927] Obituary. # Mary Schairer Obituary # August 1970 , Bremerton, Kitsap County, WA, USA # Bremerton Sun 8/5/1970 issue Mary E. Schairer Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Schairer, 49, of Bainbridge Island, died suddenly yesterday of a brain aneurysm. Mrs. Schairer, the former Mary Stoffel, was born March 23, 1921, in Bremerton to a longtime Bremerton Family. She attended local schools and worked in a Bremerton bank before her marriage, in January of 1946, to Robert H. Schairer. They moved to Bainbridge about 20 years ago. Mrs. Schairer was active in the Wing Point Golf and Country Club and was also a member of St Cecila?s Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island. She is survived by her husband, of the family home; two children, Susan Marie and Robert H. Jr., both of whom are attending college; three brothers, Gerald, Vaughan and Woodrow Stoffel, all of Bremerton; and three sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Rourke and Mrs. Kathleen Augustyn, both of Bremerton, and Mrs. Lillian Petrosich of Kentfield, Calif. Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced later.
