Mildred Stoffel Mildred A. Stoffel, 81, of Bremerton died Jan. 7, 2001, at Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. She was born April 11, 1919, in Aberdeen to Larry and Grace (Kangas) Nyman. She attended high school in Aberdeen and graduated in 1937. She married Gerald Stoffel in Bremerton in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and camping. Survivors include a son, Larry of Alexandria, Va.; a daughter, Christina Boechler, also of Alexandria; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son, Gary; and a brother, Milton Nyman. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Monday at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
