Krier Edna H. Krier, age 89, Ryder, N.D., and former postmistress of Flaxton, N.D., died Saturday, June 1 at Minot. The funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 6th at the First Presbyterian Church of Minot. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot. Friends may call at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The former Edna Stoffel was born at Childs, Mn., on September 16, 1895, a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Stoffel. The family remained in Minnesota until 1902 when they moved to Saskatchewan. They remained there until 1915, when they moved to Orr, N.D. She married Wilfred E. Burgett January 26, 1921 in Orr. They remained there until moving to Flaxton; where he died in 1926. She remained in Flaxton after his death. She married Mathew Krier in Flaxton on January 10, 1942. They lived in Flaxton until 1971, when they moved to Ryder. He died in 1973. At Flaxton, she was a member of the St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Flaxton Cemetery Association, Community Club, and was Postmistress for 23 years. In Ryder she was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church and the Ryder Senior Citizens. She moved to the Trinity Homes, Minot, three years ago. Edna is survived by one son, Wilfred Burgett, Latham, N.Y.; three daughters, Mrs. John (Donna) Killiom, Warminister, Pa., Mrs. Maxine O'Connell, Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Robert (Geraldine) Albert, Ryder; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
