Edward 'Chipper' M. Freeman Jr., 50
ZANESVILLE - Edward "Chipper" M. Freeman Jr., 50, a resident of Echoing Hills near Warsaw, died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at Coshocton Memorial Hospital following a one-year illness.
He was born Friday, June 21, 1957, in Zanesville, the son of the late Edward M.Freeman Sr. and Jessie Blackstone Freeman. He was a member of Marantha Bible Church and Eagles Aerie 302. He was the Muskingum County Easter Seal Poster Child in 1963.
Chipper is survived by two sisters, Kathy West of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Tabbie Goslin of Zanesville; one half sister, Patricia (Cecil) Lepley of Zanesville; one half brother, George "Eddie" (Dixie) Freeman of Lockland; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert West; and a niece, Cheryl Hewitt.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Hillis and Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, at the funeral home, with Pastor L. Dale McCallister officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Eagles Aerie 302, 1275 E. Market St., following the interment.
