Frank Wolff
Frank J. Wolff, 82, Bismarck, died July 4, 2007. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bismarck, with the Rev. Gene Lindemann officiating. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. CST Tuesday, July 10, in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Dickinson.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at Bismarck Funeral Home, with a vigil rosary service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Frank was born in Mott, Aug. 25, 1924, to Anton and Elizabeth (Barth) Wolff. He was raised and attended school in Mott, graduating in 1943. Oct. 23, 1944, in Mott, he married Margaret Frenzel. Together they have two sons.
Frank owned the Gambles store in Mott. He was also employed at the Mann's Automotive Supply store in Dickinson. He was employed by and then managed, General Tire, Bismarck, now known as OK Tire. He enjoyed being of service to people and brought that spirit also to his work.
Frank was happiest when tinkering and was great at designing things and could repair just about anything. When not in his work shed, he was at an auction, or out on the river fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Marge; two sons, Harvey (Kathy) Wolff, Bismarck, and Randy (Laura) Wolff, Kalispell, Mont.; two grandsons, Damon, Bismarck, and Matthew, Willmar, Minn.; two great-grandchildren, Dustin and Jayden, both of Willmar; and two brothers, John (Lillian) and Bill (Jean), both of Dickinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Anton Wolff; and a brother, Otto Wolff.
