  [S927] Obituary. Tommy J. Eisenhauer 12/8/1958 - 04/03/2016 Tommy J. Eisenhauer, 57, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:15 A.M., Sunday, April 3, 2016 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin. Tommy had been a contractor. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin. Tommy was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He was an avid deer hunter and he enjoyed fishing and farming. Tommy also sold farm fertilizer. He was born December 8, 1958 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of Eugene and Janetta (Holland) Eisenhauer. He married Barbara (Robertson) Gossman on October 18, 2014 at Du Quoin, IL and she survives. He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, two children - Elizabeth Hughes and husband Adam of Troy, IL, and Tanner Eisenhauer of Du Quoin, his father - Eugene Eisenhauer of Du Quoin, three step sons - Eli Gossman of Du Quoin, Tristan Gossman of Carbondale and Cody Gossman of Du Quoin, one grandchild - Mason Hughes of Troy, IL, four step grandchildren - Caleb Gossman, Adrianna Gossman, Joshua Gossman and Kierstyn Pyron, three sisters - Donna Eisenhauer of Du Quoin, Lisa Eisenhauer and husband David Sheets of St. Louis, MO, and Sharon Eisenhauer and husband Bruce Conley of Du Quoin, two brothers - Rick Eisenhauer of Du Quoin and Dennis Eisenhauer and wife Kate of Wisconsin, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Fr. Joseph Oganda officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin. Friends may make memorials to the College Fund for Tanner Eisenhauer, with the donations made to Barbara Eisenhauer or the ALS Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
