Roy Dauenhauer Roy Dauenhauer, 70, went home to the Lord, Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, after a long illness of heart disease. Born in Mott, N.D, on April'29, 1930, a son of Jacob and Rose (Friedt) Dauenhauer, he married Viola M. Roll on Nov. 26, 195L They moved to Billings in 1952, and Roy worked for Midland Packing 29 years. He was a member of a local meat-cutting union and the Moose. He was a founding member of St. Bernard's Parish. Roy enjoyed lite with his family and friends, fishing, playing cards, dancing and socializing, but most of all, he loved gardening and his grandchildren. We will all miss his great sense of humor. Survivors include 1 Li. MR. DAUENHAUER his wife, Viola; children, Curt (Gail), Mark (Susan), Laurie (Richard) Kuntz; grandchildren Levi, Jesse, Jacob, Lacey, Carisa and Mikayla, all of Billings; brothers and sisters, Bea (Jim) Henley, Louie (Dorathy) of Billings, Henry (Shirley) of Lebret, Saskatchewan, Canada, Sally (Leonard) Haberstroh of Rapid City, S.D.; half-brother Ted of Minnesota; stepbrothers and sisters, Marge (Frank) Wolff of Bismarck, N.D, Fred (Christie) Frenzel of Glendive, Maggie (Rash), Pauline (Woods), Tom (Elsie) Frenzel and Lorraine (Witting), all of Stockton, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Roy was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother; brothers, Chris, Jake, Tony, John, Bennie, Al, Ike and four step-siblings. "Loving Husband, Dad and Grandpa, we love you and will miss you!" Vigil will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. L and Funeral Mass will be 11 am Friday, Feb. 2, at St. Bernard's Church. Rite of committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the St Bernard's Parish. Dahl
