Vicki L. Morris
Vicki L. Morris, 64, of Tamaroa, passed away at 9:51 P.M., Friday, January 12, 2007 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Breese.
Vicki was a beautician and had owned and operated her shop at her home for thirty five years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin. She loved to bowl and played and coached softball for several years. She had served on the Tamaroa School board for twelve years. She was a member of the Perry County Historical Society and a member of the Tamaroa Junior Womens Club.
She was born July 4, 1942 at Vergennes, IL the daughter of Leonard J. and Inez I. (Bost) Eisenhauer.
She married Philip Gregory Morris on January 10, 1965 at Carlyle, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Tamaroa, mother- Inez Eisenhauer of Du Quoin, four children- Ken Morris and wife Brenda of Albers, Eric Morris and Annie Fischer of St. Jacob, Karla McKinnies and husband Dan of Du Quoin, Jeff Morris and wife Krista of Belleville, two sisters- Gayle Eisenhauer of Du Quoin and L. T. Hill of Rockford, four grandchildren- Brittany McKinnies, Chase McKinnies, Caleb Berg and Clint Morris.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Dan McKinnies, Rev. C.L. McKinnies and Msgr. Harry Jerome officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Per Mrs. Morris's request cremation will follow the funeral.
