Schehl, 91, of the Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell, Ohio, (formerly of Carlisle, Ohio) died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the nursing home. She was born near Carlisle, Ohio on March 13, 1917 a daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Sorg Warner. Mildred was a former employee of the Timken Roller Bearing Company, Canton, Ohio and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Carlisle, Ohio where she was also a member of the Catholic Women's Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Schehl on January 1, 1965 and a brother, Harold Warner. Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the Brubach-Watters Funeral Home, 202 Main Street, Summerfield, Ohio from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008 with vigil services at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Carlisle, Ohio with Rev. Fr. Thomas Hamm as the celebrant. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Cemetery, Massillon, Ohio.
