  [S927] Obituary. VETERAN BUSINESS MAN IS DEAD CALDWELL - William Arnold Sr., oldest active business man here, died at 10 o?clock Tuesday morning at his home on North street, following three months illness. A native of the Fulda community, he was the son of John and Regina Arnold. He had operated a hardware store here for the past 46 years. In 1919, he formed a partnership with O.J. Lorenz, which continued until his health failed about three months ago. He was a member of St. Philomena Catholic church here. Surviving are his widow, Mary Smith Arnold; one daughter, Mrs. Agnes Lyons, Chicago; five sons, Paul and Fred Arnold, Canton; B. F. of Huntington, Calif.; H.E. of Evansville, Ind., and William Arnold Jr. of this place; one brother, Henry Arnold, of Noble county. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
