Clarence Schell?s obituary appeared in the Newark [OH] Advocate on 3 May 1971:
Services for Clarence W. Schell, 63, of Rt. 6 will be 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday in St. Leonard?s Church, Heath, with burial in St.
Joseph Cemetery.
Mr. Schell died this morning in Licking County Memorial
Hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1907 at Berne.
Mr. Schell was a welder for Rockwell Standard Co. He had
lived in Newark since 1952 and was a member of St. Leonard?s
Church in Heath and the Rockwell Union local No. 1037.
Surviving are his wife, Elvira Hill Schell; eight sons, Clair W.,
David P., Daniel E., and Gregory E. of Newark, Charles E., Mark
T., Stephen J. and Michael F. of the home; three daughters,
Monica and Anne of the home, and Mrs. Barbara J. Heffley of
Newark; four sisters, Mrs. Beulah Arnold of Rosemead Calif.,
Mrs. Eunice Miller and Mrs. Clara Mallett of Caldwell and Mrs.
Esther Crum of Canton; three brothers, Rayner, Earl and Harold
of Caldwell; 13 grandchildren.
Calling hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. tomorrow in the Egan Funeral Home.
