Ihle was a homemaker and had worked at Mallory Co. in Du Quoin. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin and the Catholic Daughters. She was born October 4, 1920 at Elkville, IL the daughter of Otis and Stella (Campbell) Swetland. She married Bernard Eisenhauer on May 6, 1943 at St. Alphonsis Rock Church in St. Louis, MO. He passed away in March of 1983. She is survived by two sons- David Eisenhauer and wife Karen of Du Quoin and Bruce Eisenhauer and wife Lori of Iuka, brother- Wilburn Swetland of Du Quoin, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Msgr. Harry Jerome officiating. Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. The Rosary was prayed at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
