On July 25, 1964, she married Clarence J. Loos in St. Mary Magdalen Church, Todds Mill, IL and he survives. Sonia was a domestic engineer and a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL. She was active in Catholic Daughters, enjoyed embroidery, quilting, pinochle, cooking at K.C. Hall, bingo, puzzles, was an avid Cardinals fan. Sonia loved being a grandma and took great pride in her grandchildren and was devoted to praying the rosary every night.She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kevin Loos; and one sister, Lois Stern.Funeral services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Bernard Goedde and Father Augustine Ibezimako officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.Friends may call at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Rosary will be on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the church.Memorial donations may be made to St. Bruno Catholic Church, St. Bruno Catholic School or Masses.Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL is in charge of arrangements.
