Florence Loretta Hooker, 84, of 2625 Steven Dr., died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Lima Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 3, 1893 in Lima, she was a daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Custy. Her husband, Herbert, died in 1931.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Avis Jones of Cincinnati and Mrs. Richard (Patricia) Marker of 2625 Steven Dr.; two sisters, Rose Goedde and Mrs. Louis (Catherine) Herold, both of Lima; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She formerly worked for DWG Cigar Factory and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, its Altar-Rosary Society and senior citizens.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church with burial in Gethsemani Cemetery.
Friends may call after 7 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Siferd Main Street Chapel where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday.
