Edith G. Belt, 84, of Algonac, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, in St. John's River District Hospital. She was born Nov. 23, 1922, in Ripley, W.Va.
Mrs. Belt is survived by her children, Jack (Jackie) Belt, Nancy (Michael) Mastalski, Larry (Sharon) Belt, Scott (Maureen) Belt, Fern Belt, and Sally (Patrick) Wilson; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren Belt, on Jan. 21, 1983; and son, Ronald Belt on Aug. 27, 2003.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home, 1422 Michigan St., Algonac, with the Rev. Alan Kozlow officiating. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township.
Visitation is 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday.
