  [S927] Obituary. BURKHART, Richard E., 62, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Sunday, August 12, 2007. He was born December 7, 1944 in Wheeling, a son of Georgia K. Coffman Hall of Wheeling, and the late Walter E. Burkhart. He was a former employee of Wheeling Machine and Boury Inc.; a member of the I.O.L.A. Club; and Cave Club. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Helen Volleman Burkhart; two sons, Anthony ?Tony? Burkhart and his wife, Lisa, and Richard C. Burkhart and his wife, Mary Ellen, all of Tenn.; one brother, Dana Burkhart and his wife, Carol, of Wheeling; two sisters, Debra Braun and Lona Charley, both of Wheeling; his grandmother, Margaret Vogler Coffman of Wheeling; three grandchildren, Emily, Joshua and Caroline Burkhart; and several nieces and nephews. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2007.
