  [S927] Obituary. Donna June Beardsley LOWELL ? Donna June Beardsley, 75, of 130 Beardsley Road, Lowell, died at 4:05 a.m. Saturday (March 11, 2006) at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 14, 1930, in Lowell to Donald D. And Irene Schau Lowe. She had retired as a machine operator from Sperry Univac, having begun her career at Remington Rand and later Sperry Rand. She had attended the Fifth Street Church of Christ in Beverly and the Lowell Christian Church. She was a life member of Steelworkers Local 3241 and the S.O.A.R., District 23, of that union. Donna was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 5108 Auxiliary, 55 Plus, O?Neill Senior Center, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 64 and AARP. Donna served three terms on the Central Committee of the Democratic Party. She was a member of the Washington County Democratic Women's Club, the Federated Democratic Women of Ohio and the Washington County Democratic Executive Committee. She is survived by her husband, Herbert A. Beardsley, whom she married on Nov. 2, 1953; one son, Tim Beardsley (Linda) of Lowell; three grandchildren, Randy Beardsley (Sheri) of Marietta, and Ryan Beardsley (Carrie) and Michelle Richards, all of Lowell; five great-grandchildren, Karlee, Laykin and Malyn Beardsley, Brenna Goodwin and Jaycie Richards; a sister, Betty Boersma (Bob) of Marietta; and a brother, Donald Douglas Lowe (Mary) of Georgia. She was preceded in death by a son, Sammy Douglas Beardsley; and three sisters, Maxine Stoke, Norma McCarthy and Jackie Moyers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Merle Farnsworth officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
