GOUGHNOUR - Cloyd H. "Pa," 77, Johnstown, died Aug. 31, 2006, at Windber Hospice. Born Dec. 4, 1928, in Johnstown, son of the late Earl and Anna (Bozic) Goughnour. Preceded in death by sister, Mary Litzinger. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy R. (Deffenbaugh); daughters, Elaine, wife of Alan Fyock, Windber, and Rose, wife of Robert Matera, Johnstown; grandchildren, Christopher Fyock (Katie), Daniel Fyock (Crystal), Brett Birtle and Rebecca Birtle; and stepgranddaughter, Chrissa Matera. Brother of Emery, Betty Kriner, Marge Green, Joann Rose and Evelyn Stevenson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Goughnour was retired from Brinks Inc. and was a member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Geisel Funeral Home, Dale, the Rev. Michael Christine and the Rev. Jack Heller officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Locust Grove Church of the Brethren Memorial Fund or Windber Hospice.
