Rosemary Frances Texiere Seese HARRISONBURG ? Rosemary Frances Texiere Seese, widow of Lyman G. Seese, Sr. died Jan. 4, 2008, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. Daughter of Jacob and Mattie Texiere, she was born April 25, 1929. Rosemary is survived by sons L. Goodrich "Rich" Seese, Jr., his wife Brenda (Wright) of New Hope and Donald W. of Harrisonburg; granddaughters, Carole and her fianc?, Ensign Joshua Tiley, and Andrea Seese. Also surviving are siblings Lorraine T. Fike, Lowell M. and Hobert G. Texiere of Rockingham County, Va. in-law siblings Margaret S. Dean, of Maryland, Sylvia S. Bieber of Pennsylvania, Patricia S. Heiney of Pennsylvania, Ruth Seese of Maryland, and special friends, Breck and Tom Hook of Linville, Va. ADVERTISEMENT Born in Harrisonburg, she was educated in public schools there, at Bridgewater College, and Rockingham Nurses Training School. In her early life she was employed as a Doctor's receptionist. She was very active in Auxiliaries at RMH, local retirement homes, and her church, having been a member of Mt. Pleasant and Harrisonburg First Churches of the Brethren. Rosemary and Lyman sang in their church choir all of their adult lives. Family and Friends will celebrate Rosemary's life in a service at First Church of The Brethren, Dogwood Drive, Harrisonburg on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 7 p.m. by Rev. Ron Wyrick and Rev. Auburn Boyers. Family members are requested to meet at the church at 5 p.m. Rosemary's Choir buddies and her Sunday School Class friends are requested to meet in the Friendship Class Room at 6:40 p.m. for special seating. Friends are welcome to visit the Seese Family at Rich and Brenda's home at any time; 225 Pine Bluff Road near New Hope, or Don's home at 10093 Mountain Valley Road, Harrisonburg.
