Adam Kuntz was born Aug. 17, 1928, on the family farm southeast of Dickinson to John and Celestine (Olheiser) Kuntz. He attended country school and helped on the farm. After school, he continued to work on the farm. On Nov. 3, 1949, Adam married Rose Mary Miller at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dickinson.
Together, they farmed on the family farm for a short time until they purchased their own farm northwest of Dickinson, where they lived from 1954 until retirement. It was here they raised their family and Adam called this place his home for the rest of his life. Adam enjoyed all the seasons on the farm, hauling hay, and driving truck. He hauled countless bales and was content to be outside. Adam also liked fishing and playing pinochle. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Eagles Club, St. Pius Club, St. Anthony Club and the German Hungarian Club until it closed. Adam enjoyed his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a very patient, giving man who never complained.
