DEMSKE, 59, of 3930N-100E, LaGrange, Ind., died July 26, 2002, at her residence. She was born Sept. 17, 1942, in Kendallville, a daughter of Francis and Mary Ellen (HINKLEY) PATTERSON. She resided in LaGrange since 1972, coming from Wolcottville. On June 10, 1961, she married Joseph L. DEMSKE in Kendallville. She was self employed with a cleaning service and an employee of Aztec Wire of LaGrange. She was a member of the Rosary and Altar Sodality and a former CCD teacher at St. Joseph and St. Gaspar Catholic churches. Surviving are; her husband, Joseph; two sons, Joseph L. DEMSKE Jr. of Sturgis, Mich., and David P. DEMSKE of Angola; two grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah PRICE of Ocean City, Md. And Martha STEELE of Delta Junction, Alaska; and two brothers, Thomas PATTERSON of Wolcottville and Michael PATTERSON of Brunswick, Ohio. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Frurip-May Funeral Home of LaGrange, where rosary service is at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gaspar Catholic Church in Rome City with Rev. Charles Mullen and Rev. Paul Faroh officiating. Burial will be in St. Gaspar Cemetery, Rome City. Memorials may be made to Masses at St. Gaspar Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Parkview Home Health and Hospice of LaGrange, or LaGrange County Cancer Society.
