Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Reformed Church, Freeman. Burial is in the Kleinkassel Cemetery. Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Walter Funeral Home, Freeman. She married Alvin Koerner in 1936. They farmed in the Freeman area until retiring into Freeman in 1977. Her husband died in 1992. She is survived by two daughters: Darlene (Clinton) Bauer, Freeman, and Jeanette (William) Kaus, Freeman; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Waldemar Bender, Menno.
