RETZER, HARRY F.
Age 96, of Bridgeville, formerly of Hickory, peacefully, on Friday, October 9, 2009. Loving Brother of Emma Story, the late Olive Stewart, Irene Randolph, Charles D. (Pat) Retzer, Ethel Fryer, Agnes Dickey and James Retzer; Uncle of Chet (Mary) Story, Judy (Randy) Heinzl, Dr. Nancy (Bill) Somers; also survived by other numerous nieces and nephews. Harry graduated from Hickory High School then enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served in WWII as a cryptographer and earned 6 bronze medals. He then worked at J&L Steel until he retired. After retirement Harry traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United States. Harry was an avid photographer. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUER- FRYER FUNERAL HOME. Friends welcome at 430 Washington Avenue, Bridgeville 412-221-3800 on Sunday 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to Baptist Homes.
