MINERAL SPRINGS — Harry Earl Young, 59, son of the late George A. and Clara (Parks) Young of Mineral Springs, died on Jan. 9 at his home in Union Park, Orlando, Fla.
Born Aug. 22, 1915, Mr. Young was a native of Clearfield County. He moved to Union Park 15 years ago from Miami.
Mr. Young was a veteran of World War II, in which he served as a corporal. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and a laborer by occupation.
Mr. Young is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen L. (Naab) Young; his mother, Mrs. Clara P. Young of Mineral Springs; three sons, Harry E. Jr., David P. and John of Orlando; a brother, Wilmer, of Mineral Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Withey of Woodland, Mrs. Laura Krueger and Clara Komonczi of Mineral Springs; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Leo.
