She was a native of Wing, N.D. where she attended local school. She moved to Lodi in 1950 with her family. She worked in housekeeping with various companies in packing sheds. She was a member of Vinewood Community Church. She is survived by her mother Lydia Bender of Lodi; and a sister DeLores Geringer of Lodi. She was predeceased by her father, Adolph Bender. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cherokee Memorial park with the Rev. James Holm of Vinewood Community Church officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today.
