Myron Kay Vigar
Myron Kay Vigar, 64, of Delaware, died early Tuesday morning (Feb. 24, 2009) at his residence.
He was born Jan. 5, 1945 in Columbus to Edward E. Vigar Jr. and Ildreth M. (Stegner) Vigar. He served in the United States Air Force and was a supervisor for PPG Industries, Delaware. He lived most of his life in Delaware and enjoyed socializing with friends, hunting, golfing, cars, motorcycles and going to the beach. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and he was the primary caretaker of his wife for many years. The family would also like to thank all of the loving family and friends who helped and supported during this difficult time.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sarah (Paddock); one son, Jeff (Holly) Vigar of Lewis Center; one daughter, Jenni (Aaron) Willis of Lewis Center; three grandchildren, Alexa Vigar and Braden and Layne Willis; one brother, Bob (Julie) Vigar of Delaware; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends in the community; and special friends, Don and Marie Askew of Mount Gilead.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until celebration of life services begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St. The family will then host a reception, to continue fellowship, in the Rodman Neeper Community Room.
