  [S927] Obituary. UNKINS, Sherwood J. "Joey", 61, of Warwood W.Va., died Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Bishop Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling. Born in Wheeling, W.Va., on September 11, 1948, Joey was the son of the late Sherwood and Dolores Pockl Junkins. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalie Koehl. Surviving are two sisters, Patricia Cupp and her husband George, and Mary S. Hadorn all of Warwood; his brother in law, Thomas Koehl of Warwood; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, W.Va., on Sunday, November 8, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Vigil services will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Msgr. Eugene Ostrowski at celebrant.
