Frances T. Linton
LINTON, Frances T. (Freel,) 78, of Edgwood Street, Wheeling, W.Va., died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at her home.
Frances was born November 2, 1928 in Quincy, Mass.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church and St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling; the Ladies of the Knights of Columbus, Carroll Council No. 504, Wheeling; Pilot Club, Wheeling; and was a 12 year volunteer at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center, Wheeling.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her twin infant daughters, Mary and Virginia; infant son, Joseph; two brothers; and three sisters.
Frances is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph L. Linton; two sons, Steve Linton of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Mike Linton and his wife, Suzanne, of Wheeling; one sister; and three grandchildren, Aaron, Alex and Annelise Linton.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, where a Vigil service will be held at 7:45 p.m., Thursday evening.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2007 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Bakhos Chidiac as celebrant.
Entombment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Wheeling.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 2216 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
