Burkhart, 89, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, in Wheeling Hospital. She was born October 13, 1918 in Barnesville, a daugh ter of the late Joseph Burkhart and Mary Reischman Burkhart. Clara was a homemaker; a member of the Barnesville Assumption Catholic Church; and the Catholic Women?s Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, George Mayberry; sisters, Alice Burkhart, Agnes Vance, and Marcella Jefferis; and brothers, Oliver and Paul Burkhart. Surviving are daughters, Shirley (Merle) Behr of Aldon, Minn., Carol Blackenship of Bethesda, Pam (Doug) Gallaher and Debbie (Tim) Porter, all of Barnesville; sons, Jerry Mayberry of Bethesda, Donald (Linda) Mayberry of Barnesville and Joe (Charlotte) Mayberry of Belmont; 11 grand children; and four great-grand children. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 a.m. at Barnesville Assumption Catholic Church with Monsignor Mark Froehlich officiating. Burial in Barnesville Assumption Cemetery. Monsignor Froehlich will hold Vigil services 2 p.m. Thursday.
