Obituary (from Betty Hartley): Marcella S. Jefferis, 83, 58481 Wright Road, Barnesville, died at her home Saturday, December 10, 1988. She was born August 27, 1905 in Ozark, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Reischman Burkhart. She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church. Her husband, Rayphael, preceded her in death in 1958; also one sister, Alice Burkhart. Surviving are four sons, Eugene of Westerville, Francis, Tom and Wayne all of Barnesville; two brothers, Oliver Burkhart of Con- necticut and Paul Burkhart, Barnesville; two sisters, Agnes Vance of Colum- bus and Clara Mayberry of Mt. Olivet; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grand- children. Friends were received Monday at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial ws held Tuesday morning in the Assumption Church with Rev. Fr. Charles Mascolino officiating. Burial was made in Assump- tion Cemetery.
