Floyd Jeffers
Mrs. Doris Jeffers received a telegram from the War Department last Thursday morning that her husband, T/Sergeant Floyd Forrest Jeffers, was killed in action somewhere in Germany on May 1st. He was 25 years old December 25, 1944.
T/Sergeant Jeffers was inducted into the Army April 30, 1942, and had only been overseas since February, 1945. Previous to his induction he was employed by the Hercules Motor Co. in Canton.
Surviving are his wile, Mrs. Doris Ludwig Jeffers; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Jeffers; two sisters, Mrs. Oreton Beaver, of Sewickley, Pa., and Mrs. Duane Beaver, of Tiltonsville, and one brother, Wade, who is serving with the Merchant Marines.
