DEATH http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~harringtonfamilies/ArticlesJRG100.htm Floyd Jeffers Mrs. Doris Jeffers received a tele­gram from the War Department last Thursday morning that her hus­band, T/Sergeant Floyd Forrest Jeffers, was killed in action somewhere in Germany on May 1st. He was 25 years old December 25, 1944. T/Sergeant Jeffers was inducted into the Army April 30, 1942, and had only been overseas since Feb­ruary, 1945. Previous to his induc­tion he was employed by the Her­cules Motor Co. in Canton. Surviving are his wile, Mrs. Doris Ludwig Jeffers; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Jeffers; two sisters, Mrs. Oreton Beaver, of Sewickley, Pa., and Mrs. Duane Beaver, of Tiltonsville, and one brother, Wade, who is serving with the Merchant Marines.
