MILAN ? Mary Margaret McClarrinon, 95, of Milan, formerly of Moline, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum, Rock Island. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan, where a Christian wake service will be at 3 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later.
Mary was born May 10, 1913, in Milan, a daughter of John Koehler and Anna Schreiner Koehler. She first married Leonard Baker on August 10, 1935. She later married Ralph G. McClarrinon on November 11, 1967, in Peoria, Ill. He preceded her in death on February 28, 2000.
In earlier years, Mary worked at Servus Rubber Co. and later for Birtman Electric. She later was an independent saleswoman for Niagara Therapy. For many years she was their top salesperson. She retired in 1993.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling as a sales representative over the years. Following her retirement, she and her husband enjoyed participating in flea markets.
Surviving are her children (and spouses), Catherine (Albert) Jochim, Milan; son, Earl J. (Debbie) Baker, Blaine, Wash.; stepdaughter Linda (James) Little, Eureka Springs, Ark.; grandchildren, Richard Jochim (Nida Dickemann), Michael (Carla) Jochim, Donna Jochim, Peggy (Ralph) Eckhardt, Ronald Jochim, Mark (Kimberly) Jochim, Patricia (Scott) Parker, Donald (Brenda) Baker, Jeff (Kimberly) Baker, Doug (Tracey) Baker, Jim (Linda) Baker, Diana (Mark) Critchlow, and Lance (Patty) Baker; 30 great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Hope, Davenport; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Her parents, husband, Ralph, great-granddaughter, Ashlynne Jochim, brothers, John, Herman, and Elmer ?Boy? Koehler, and a sister, Helen Foss, preceded her in death.
