Notes for AUGUSTINA M. HAREN:
Relatives and friends were shocked Sunday evening to learn of the sudden death of Miss
Gussie Haren, of Columbus. Miss Haren had been ill for the past two weeks with
influenza at the St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, but was thought to be improving nicely.
Her death Sunday noon, February 1943, was unexpected. She was 58 years of age.
Miss Haren was a daughter of the late John and Matilda Weisend Haren of Woodsfield, and was a resident of Woodsfield, most of her life. She was an employee of the Monroe Bank for several years. She had recently been employed at the Ia! Lal Cafe in Columbus.
Surviving axe four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Frances Weisend, of Akron; Mrs. Bertha
Stider, of Cleveland; Miss Clementine Haren of Dennison; Miss Grace Haren, of
Columbus; John Haren, of Louisville, Ky., and Clarence Haren, of Los Angeles, Calif.
Two aunts, Miss Cecelia Weisend, of Woodsfield, and Mrs. Philomena Staudt, of
Columbus, also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:00 o'clock at Our Lady of Victory Church in Columbus. Burial will be made at Columbus.
