Laughlin, 69, Vermilion, died Friday evening at Lorain Community Hospital following a sudden illness. Born in Temperanceville, Ohio, she was a 36-year resident of Vermilion, moving from Elwood, Pa. She had been employed by Lakeland Enterprises Inc., Lorain as office manager for 18 years. She was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Vermilion, and of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Vermilion. Surviving are her husband of 45 year, Harry R.; two daughters, Beverly Fisher, Vermilion, and Debra Laughlin, Cincinnati; two sons, Jerry, Vermilion, and Don, of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St., Vermilion, where rosary services will be held at 8 p.m. today. Prayer services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by a service at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Vermilion, with the Rev. Philip Feltman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. Memorial contributions if desired, may be made to the American Heat Association, 1689 E. 115th St., Cleveland, 44106.
