FEYOCK ? Edith M., 100, Richland, formerly of Cresson, died June 29, 2009, at Windber Hospice. Born May 28, 1909, in Gallitzin, daughter of David and Angeline (Cantarini) DeCarlo. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; and brothers and sisters: Dewy DeCarlo, Theresa Pantano, James DeCarlo, Annie DeCarlo, Lucci Fyock, Patsy DeCarlo, Helen Della and Virginia Nardelli. Also preceded in death by son-in-law, Anthony A. Turchetta; and daughter-in- law, Joan M. Feyock. Survived by these children: Pauline L. Turchetta, Cresson; Francis L. Feyock, Johnstown; John D., and wife, Carol, East Petersburg; and Lenore "Norie," wife of Robert McGowan Sr., Johnstown, with whom she resided; 15 grandchildren; 32 great- grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren. Edith is a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, and a former member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. A member of Cresson Senior Citizens and Cresson Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Edith enjoyed growing flowers for her family and friends and cooking and baking for big family dinners. Friends will be received from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery, Cresson. The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to either Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963, or St. Benedict Church, 2310 Bedford St., Johnstown, Pa. 15904, in memory of Edith.
